Women's Giving Circle
The Women’s Giving Circle at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada is dedicated to the power and practice of philanthropy, creating opportunities for positive change in the lives of women and children in northern Nevada. Since its inception in 2008, the circle has awarded over $1,500,000 to local organizations.
Who Are We?
A network of talented and accomplished women in northern Nevada who are committed to the following:
- Championing the welfare, achievement, and advancement of women and children
- Advocating for and promoting the practice of philanthropy
- Meeting the financial giving requirements of the Circle.

What Do We Do?
The Mission of the Women’s Giving Circle is to research and respond to community needs and pool resources of women philanthropists, encouraging intentional and transformational giving.
Our vision is that women, girls, and families have the knowledge, confidence, and means to thrive.
We typically make targeted, one-time grants, usually payable over three years, in areas we believe will have a significant impact on the well-being of women and children in our community.
