Wildfire Relief Organizations in Nevada and Northern California

Community Foundation Researches and Recommends California and Nevada Wildfire Relief Organizations.

In light of the recent wildfires devastating parts of northern California and northern Nevada, Program Officer Lauren Renda has determined those organizations that are addressing the most pressing needs in the most effective way. The consensus is that monetary donations are most needed at this time. It is advised that you call food banks or other organizations prior to making donations of food or clothing to see if these items are needed.

Community Foundation of Western Nevada official recommendations of nonprofit disaster and fire relief  organizations are listed below. Please feel free to share with those looking for ways to help.
