Konner Robison Joins Community Foundation Staff

I am pleased to share that Konner Robison will be joining our team as Strategic Projects Director. During the next year, he will help to complete the Campaign for Our Community and to secure funding for the Village on Sage Street. Konner is an extraordinary young man, bringing talent, passion, and a history of achievement to help the Community Foundation with the challenging projects that are critical to the future of our community. Konner has been involved with the Community Foundation for more than a decade. As a young teen, he participated in the High School Giving Circle for several years. Also, he and a fellow Sage Ridge High School student launched the Scholastic Gateway Charitable Fund. He secured almost 100 contributions totaling six figures in the two years of the fund’s existence. The Scholastic Gateway fund distributed grants to several Washoe County High Schools that needed math and science calculators to compete on a level academic field. His involvement continued after college. In 2018 Konner joined the Campaign Cabinet, making a generous personal contribution to the Campaign for Our Community. Konner has a variety of work experience, serves on the board of the Washoe County K-12 Education Foundation, Tahoe Public Art, and served as a US Senate Intern. He graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s in Management Science and Engineering, and a Master’s in Public Policy. Konner also enjoys rowing, cycling, and will be participating in his first Ironman event next month. Chris Askin, President, and CEO
