James L. Pfrommer Award for Extraordinary Volunteerism nomination form

Jim Pfrommer lived his life following Santa Clara University’s motto of the 3 C’s:  Competence, Conscience, and Compassion. He also exemplified the Community Foundation of Western Nevada’s mission of “Connecting people who care with causes that matter,” in both his professional and personal life. Jim served on the Community Foundation board from 2008-2019 and acted as Board Chair from 2016 until his passing in 2019. Jim’s leadership of the board was invaluable, and we will forever be grateful for his commitment to his community. Jim was also actively involved with the Reno Rotary Club of Reno and served as past President of the Reno Rotary Foundation. He also served as Treasurer and was a founding member of the Washoe K-12 Education Program. To honor our late friend, the Community Foundation is asking for nominees for the James L. Pfrommer Award for Extraordinary Volunteerism. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee of representatives from the Community Foundation, The Reno Rotary Foundation and the Washoe K-12 Education Program. Awardees will be granted $1,000 to support the charity of their choice! Please complete the nomination form and submit to LCrossley@nevadafund.org by July 31,2019.
