Elko County Nonprofit Leaders Gather for Transformative Training Event

Last week, the Community Foundation of Elko County, in partnership with the Center for Nonprofit Business, hosted a dynamic and inspiring Nonprofit Development Workshop on July 17–18. Held in the heart of Elko, the day-and-a-half event brought together nonprofit professionals, board members, and community leaders for a powerful series of sessions focused on leadership, strategy, and sustainable growth.

Participants explored topics such as capacity building, strategic planning, and best practices for nonprofit excellence. Sessions like "Putting the Strategy in Strategic Planning" and "Planning for change and uncertainty” sparked meaningful dialogue and equipped attendees with actionable tools to strengthen their organizations.
