Community Foundation of Northern Nevada Receives Microsoft IT Makeover Grant to Boost Regional Impact

The Community Foundation of Northern Nevada is proud to announce its selection as a recipient of the 17th Annual Microsoft IT Makeover Campaign. This opportunity, granted by Microsoft Reno, provides funding for critical technology upgrades that will significantly enhance the Community Foundation’s ability to serve the Northern Nevada community. With this support, the Community Foundation will be better equipped to streamline operations, improve data security, and expand digital access for the many nonprofits and individuals it supports.

This generous investment from Microsoft will allow the Community Foundation to modernize its IT infrastructure in our conference rooms, enabling more efficient collaboration, faster response times, and improved service delivery across its programs. Whether it is helping families navigate housing challenges, supporting local students through scholarships, or empowering nonprofits with resources and training, the Community Foundation’s work will be amplified through these technology enhancements.

The Microsoft IT Makeover Campaign has a long-standing tradition of empowering local nonprofits, and we are deeply honored to be among this year’s recipients. Over the past 16 years, Microsoft has awarded more than $355,000 to over 45 organizations in Northern Nevada, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to community development and digital equity.
