Jason Morris was first involved with the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada as a member of the Professional Advisor Council. He joined the Board in 2018 and is a Trustee serving on the Development Committee. 

Jason is an attorney with Woodburn and Wedge, and he practices primarily in the area of estate planning. His work includes representing families and individuals while crafting wills and trusts. He is a member of the Reno South Rotary Club and the Prospector’s Club. He previously served on the board of the Reno Chamber Orchestra. Jason brings connections through his clients and other estate planning professionals to the Community Foundation.

Helping foster a community in the local community and seeking to benefit charities, donors, and recipients in Northern Nevada is crucial. Having a one-stop-shop like the Community Foundation where those different parties can work together is vital, Jason says.

Jason was born and raised in Reno. He has been married to his wife for over ten years, and they have four daughters. Jason enjoys basketball, wake surfing, skiing, and mountain biking.
