Christina Sarman serves as Vice President of Donor Relations at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada, bringing more than two decades of experience advancing philanthropic impact across higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations.

Most recently, Christina served as Senior Director of Development at Renown Health Foundation, leading philanthropic initiatives that advanced Women’s and Children’s Health. Prior to Renown, she was a member of the University Advancement leadership team at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she ultimately served as Assistant Vice President of Development, guiding fundraising efforts across multiple colleges and schools and helping drive the successful completion of the University’s $500 million Campaign for the New Nevada.

Throughout her career, Christina has been guided by a deep commitment to thoughtful stewardship, collaboration, and helping donors achieve their dreams by aligning generosity with meaningful, lasting community impact. She was inspired to pursue development as a profession after experiencing firsthand the transformative impact of generous scholarships that supported her own higher education journey.

Christina is a proud alumna of the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Outside of work, she enjoys life in Northern Nevada with her husband and two children—exploring the outdoors, skiing, and cheering on her children in their many activities.
