Carrie serves as the Scholarship Coordination Intern, helping manage applications for over 40 different funds in the scholarship program. The recipient of scholarships herself and a senior at the University of Nevada, Reno, she enjoys playing a role in supporting other students in the community, especially in Reno, where she was born and raised.

She is actively involved in campus life at the University, through being the founder of the UNR Hiking Club, serving on the leadership board of her sorority, and serving on the ASUN Senate. She will be graduating in May with Honors degrees in Geography and Spanish, and a GIS certificate.

She loves to travel, having studied in Spain last Spring and visiting 10 countries during her time abroad. When she’s not traveling on the weekends to camp in a National Park or visit friends, she enjoys reading, skiing or hiking in the Sierra Nevada, and trying new restaurants.
