The Community Foundation serves as a community leader, permanent charitable resource, and a philanthropic advisor in charitable giving.

The Community Foundation of Western Nevada Mission

To strengthen our community through philanthropy and leadership by connecting people who care with causes that matter.

Everything the Community Foundation does is designed to strengthen our community and deepen your connection to it. People come to us to make their charitable giving more efficient.
We offer personalized service, accept a wide variety of gifts, and ensure your donation receives maximum tax advantages. The Community Foundation also serves as a resource for local nonprofit organizations, helping them build their endowments and get the support they need.

Call Ginny Harding-Davis, Chief Advancement Officer at 775-333-5499 to discuss making the most of your charitable giving.

Community Engagement

Our business is building community. We invest in the long-term and bring people and organizations together, to learn about local issues and opportunities. From addressing the needs of homeless youth through You’N-I, offering resources to family caregivers, hosting free estate planning seminars to the community-at-large, to teaching high school students about philanthropy in the High School Giving Circle, we engage citizens in pressing community issues.
