Seniors in Service

A Community Endowment grant was given to Seniors in Service for their Respite Voucher Program, a grant-funded respite voucher service to live-in caregivers who need a break.

For those who qualify, a voucher of $1000, may be available to pay for care. Family caregivers can use the voucher all at once to provide care while they take a brief vacation or they may use it throughout the year for occasional days away or evenings out.  Those served are live-in caregivers of persons over the age of 60 who need assistance in most activities of daily living and are a safety risk if left alone.  Qualifications and restrictions apply. < Back to community fund grants
