Leslie Daane joined the Advisory Board of the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada in 2015, during which she served on the Audit Committee. Currently, Leslie serves on the Board of Trustees as the Board Treasurer and on the Executive and Finance Committees.

Leslie is a certified public accountant and is the managing partner of Barnard Vogler & Co., where she’s been with for 30 years. She is also on the University of Nevada, Reno Accounting Department Advisory Board, the Planned Giving Advisory Council at UNR, and on the board of the Center for Healthy Aging. She brings her knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and management to the Community Foundation.

Giving back to the community that she lives in brings value to her life, Leslie says. What appeals to her about the Community Foundation is its ability to provide a vehicle in which donors can accomplish their philanthropic goals.

Leslie has lived in Reno for more than 50 years. She is married and has four children and five grandchildren, with two more on the way. She has a little dog and enjoys spending time with family outdoors.
