Reno Central Rotary Scholarship

Annually, The Reno Rotary club offers four-year college scholarships to graduating seniors from Hug and Wooster High Schools.

The Reno Central Rotary Scholarship is a one-time $1,500 award, with the opportunity for the scholarship to be renewed with reapplication.

You are eligible to apply for this award if:

• you are a senior graduating from Hug or Wooster High School in Washoe County, Nevada
• you have a minimum GPA of 3.2
• you will attend college full-time in the fall of the application year and agree to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0
• your family income shows a need for tuition assistance
• you have a minimum composite SAT of 1100 or 21/ACT score
• you agree to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and submit an unofficial copy of transcripts at the end of each semester they are receiving an award

Along with this application, you’ll be required to attach:

• Transcript
• SAT or ACT score report
• Résumé
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher
• One-page essay telling the selection committee why you have chosen your course of study and what you hope to accomplish with your education
