With a passion for connecting people to the causes they love, Megan Weiss serves as a Philanthropic Advisor for the Community Foundation. Her approach is rooted in nearly 10 years of experience in the community foundation sector, where she learned the importance of building relationships to guide effective charitable giving.

Megan helps donors fulfill their philanthropic goals by providing informed strategies, facilitating grants, and serving on our donor relations advisory committee. In addition to her philanthropy experience, Megan brings a strong skill set in project management, data reporting and analysis, and more than 25 years of customer and operational support.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno. Outside the office, Megan enjoys traveling, attending concerts, reading in her hammock, and spending time with her husband.
