As Executive Assistant and Office Manager at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada, Leah St. Marie supports organizational operations, executive leadership, and board engagement while helping advance the Foundation’s mission to strengthen communities across the region. 

Leah brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and event planning. Prior to joining the Community Foundation, she served as Managing Director at Atypical Consulting & Events, where she partnered with nonprofit organizations to develop and execute successful fundraising events. She also worked at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, helping connect donors, volunteers, and community partners through fundraising events and food drive initiatives. Leah's background also includes experience in nonprofit research and grant writing. 

Leah holds a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Community and Organizational Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from Wesleyan University.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, traveling, reading, and exploring Northern Nevada's trails as an avid runner.
