Chantal HagerChantal died when she was 19 years old.

Growing up in Reno, Chantal’s friends from Mt. Rose elementary school and the Coral Academy of Science remember her as an energetic, full-of-fun friend.  Her life was full of joy, family, and fulfilling activities. She loved her high spirited Thoroughbred horse,  named Cash. Together they competed in and won many hunter-jumper competitions.

Chantal Hager was a young woman with a lovely spirit who was afflicted with a deadly eating disorder.  Despite her best efforts and the support of professionals and family Chantal was unable to overcome her illness.

The Chantal Hager Foundation has created a video to help you learn about the devastating impact of anorexia and bulimia on families.
