CARE Chest Received 2019 Community Fund Grant

For more than a quarter of a century CARE Chest has been a critical health resource for thousands of Northern Nevadans.

85 % of this community-driven organization’s funding comes from private sources.By 2019 they had provided more than 127,000 individual services in Northern Nevada and have been a reliable resource for individuals facing medical poverty. CARE Chest’s free programs are designed to fill insurance gaps for under-served populations. They provide: Medical Equipment and supplies, Prescription Assistance, Diabetic Supplies, Medical Nutrition, Mobile CARE Chest, Wellness Education, independent Living, and CARE Loan program (a low-interest loan program to fund home or auto modifications for independent living.) < Back to community fund grants
