Alicia Reban joined the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada Board in 2006 and was a Trustee serving on the Stewardship Committee until 2023 when she became a Board Advisor on the Stewardship Committee.
Alicia is the Executive Director of the Nevada Land Trust, an organization that works to conserve land and water for wildlife and people. She has served in that role since helping to found the group in 1998. She also serves on the board of the Great Basin National Park Foundation. Alicia brings a longtime connection to conservation groups and the environmental sector to the Community Foundation.
Alicia says she believes that a community must strive towards health in all sectors. Being part of the Community Foundation allows her to stay connected to those other sectors and to learn from them, as well as giving her an opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Alicia has lived in the Reno area for over 30 years. She has been married for nearly 25 years and has two teenage children. She enjoys dark night skies, camping, hiking, fly fishing, and exploring the incredible landscapes of Nevada and the West.
