Founded in 2011, The Maison T Ortiz Youth Outdoor Skills Camp is a two-and-a-half-day event near Pyramid Lake that has been designed to give a full outdoor skills training and overnight camping experience. The primary focus is urban and rural children who may not otherwise have many opportunities to experience Nevada’s outdoors and wildlife related activities.
