As the Accountant at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada, Gay Brown records the day-to-day activities of the Community Foundation. This includes paying bills and grants, recording and acknowledging gifts from our fundholders and donors, and assisting and supporting the staff. Gay graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has over 40 years of experience as a Staff Accountant in several industries in the public and private sectors. Born and raised in Reno, Gay loves the outdoor and cultural activities the community has to offer! She enjoys skiing, hiking, and beach time. In her free time, Gay likes spending time with her grandkids, family, and friends.
