This fund helps children involved in the family court system by purchasing needed items such as beds, school supplies or clothing or even a birthday present.
The purchases are recommended on the direction of the family court judge.
Gifts from the fund include:
- A first and full set of young women’s clothes for a 15 year old girl, who was living on the street taking care of her disabled father. She was dressed in her dad’s castoffs and did not own her own clothes.
- Yoga, soccer uniforms and team dues, and swim classes for young foster children in need of summer activities.
- Beds and furniture for children so they could be re-united with their mother after she graduated from rehabilitative services.
