Help us Honor Jim Pfrommer's Extraordinary Service to the Community

Jim Pfrommer was more than an inspirational Board Chair to those close to the Community Foundation. His leadership and influence extended to other organizations and causes in our region, and his volunteer spirit touched people in all corners of our community. Jim was also actively involved with the Reno Rotary Club of Reno and served as past President of the Reno Rotary Foundation. He also served as Treasurer and was a founding member of the Washoe K-12 Education Program. As our Board discussed a way to honor Jim and to in some way express what he meant to us, we decided to create an annual award to be given in his name to someone remarkable for their volunteer efforts and achievements. The Community Foundation will recognize an exceptional person who inspires, who creates good, who helps our community by devoting their talent and skills who need it most with The James L. Pfrommer Award for Extraordinary Volunteerism.
