- Development Assistant
Amelia is a fifth-generation Nevadan who loves what our community has to offer and is proud to call it home. She has spent her life being active in the non-profit world, whether volunteering or professionally, with different local and national organizations. Growing up in Reno has shown her that our community is a unique one. Her passion for the community has only grown; and she credits that to her family, friends, and mentors.
Amelia is an alumnus of the University of Nevada, Reno. She graduated from the University in 2015 with a Bachelors of Communication Studies and a Bachelors of Psychology.
You can almost always find Amelia outdoors with her family and friends. In the winter months, most of her free time is spent in the snow, on the ski hill or snow-shoeing. As it gets warmer you can find her hiking, camping, fishing, or spending time at the lake. She loves going to the many local events, concerts, and supporting our University’s sports teams.
“I am so proud to be joining the team at The Community Foundation of Western Nevada. I am grateful to be a part of a team that is making sure the community that we all love, is here for all the future generations to cherish and enjoy.”
