Tyson Cross has been part of the Community Foundation Board since 2016, during which he served as a member of the Advisory Board and the Investment Committee. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees as the Board Secretary and is a member of the Executive and Nominating Committees and the Professional Advisor Council.

Tyson is the founder of Cross Law Group, and he practices in areas of tax, estate planning, and probate. His connections with those interested in estate planning and charitable giving and his knowledge in taxes and finance are an asset to the Community Foundation.

As a Reno native, Tyson cares about the community he calls home. The Community Foundation is one of the best ways to give back because of its size and broad reach, he says.

Tyson has been married for 10 years and has three daughters and a son. His family has a Goldendoodle. Tyson enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors.
