Twelve Days of Christmas at the Community Foundation

In the spirit of the season, I’d like to share a bit of the fun we have working with philanthropy. On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, a gift of a grant, in a hurry. On the second day of Christmas, my true love set up for me, a charitable trust to benefit charity! On the third day of Christmas, we decorated the office for our festivities. On the fourth day of Christmas,  my true love and I did site visits at several charities. On the fifth day of Christmas,  to help Elko celebrate their Community Foundation, we sent philanthropy expert, Tracy! On the sixth day of Christmas,  Chris went to eight meetings, it was, very busy. On the seventh day of Christmas,  grantee reports were reviewed, it was a day of ecstasy! On the eighth Day of Christmas,  the market was up, much celebrated by the Investment Committee! On the ninth day of Christmas,  Board Chair Jim had his fifth meeting this week, he says whoopee! On the tenth day of Christmas,  we met with hundreds to help caregivers, so so happy! On the eleventh day of Christmas,  we met new donors and fund holders, fait accompli! On the twelfth day of Christmas,  Board, Staff, and Professional Advisors celebrated, we thank thee!
