Truckee River Fund Works at Keeping Tahoe Clear

The Truckee River fund at the Community Foundation of Western Nevada accepts proposals for projects that protect Lake Tahoe, the Truckee River and its watershed. This project, #141 by the Tahoe Resource Conservation District will survey Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) along the Truckee River from Lake Tahoe to Pyramid Lake and remove EWM from a 3-mile stretch from the outlet at Lake Tahoe to River Ranch at Alpine Meadows Road.
