The “Planning Workshops” kick off March 19.

You know us.  If we did not feel these free series of 7 classes were not exceptional both in curriculum and presentation, we would not affiliate the Community Foundation of Western Nevada name.

The goal of these workshops is to equip you to be in charge of your money and your estate plan; to hire ethical professionals to assist you, if needed or desired; and to support your favorite charity(s) through your estate in the most efficient and tax-wise manner. Classes are taught by local volunteer experts: attorneys, accountants and financial planners.

As a service to the community, we are proud to underwrite these workshops along with KNPB. The Planning Series is exclusively sponsored by charitable organizations.  Over 600 people have attended the classes, and I am proud to report that because of the workshops many individuals have included their favorite charity(s) in their will or trust.

The 2014 Spring Estate Planning Series sponsors are:

American Heart Association/American Stroke Association

Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows

 Children’s Cabinet

  Desert Research Institute

  Food Bank of Northern Nevada

  Nevada Humane Society

 Nevada Land Trust

 Renown Health Foundation

United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra

  Washoe County Library System

The series begins on March 13 and continues until April 30. Download the CFWNEstateSeriesFlyer  for class topics and location addresses. Call the Foundation at 775-333-5499 to register.
