A native of the Northern Nevada area, Ray Gonzalez has been part of the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada Board for over ten years and is a member of the Development Committee. He previously chaired the Investment Committee.

Ray is currently the managing director and an investment officer with Wells Fargo Advisors, where he manages, protects, and transitions wealth to match the risk tolerance and objectives of his clients. He is also involved with the Community Health Alliance, Reno Rotary, Nevada Humane Society, American Heart Association, Executive Association of Reno, and Summit VMS.

Ray contributes to the Foundation with his financial expertise and by bringing in new donors.

Ray is passionate about the well-being of humanity. What’s especially powerful, Ray says, is the ability for members of the community to embrace and fund the many different causes that they feel will make a difference in the community, a goal through which the Community Foundation makes possible.

Ray has lived in Reno for 25 years. He has three children and a Pitbull named Guinevere. When he’s not working, Ray enjoys powerlifting and boxing.
